Fish continually release ammonia into the aquarium through their gills, urine and solid waste. Uneaten food and decaying organic matter also add ammonia to the water. Even small amounts of ammonia stress fish; large amounts of ammonia will kill fish. Ammonia is the #1 killer of freshwater fish.

It does not remove ammonia from water; it converts poisonous ammonia into a non-toxic form.

Aquarium water will show a reduction in ammonia on API Test Kits, but a 25% water change is still recommended after dosing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Use dosing cap on bottle. Shake well before use.
• Use when high levels of ammonia are detected.
• Add 5 ml per 38 L of aquarium water.
• Add every 2 days until ammonia is not detected.
• If, after 7 days, ammonia is still present, perform a partial water change, service your filter, and reduce feeding.
• For best results, weekly supplementation is recommended.
