We recommend that you take a few minutes each week to monitor your aquarium conditions and create a better underwater world for your fish. Testing your aquarium water has never been so easy or accurate!

WHEN TO USE
- Several times a week for 4-6 weeks after setting up a new aquarium
- Weekly for monitoring ammonia presence / levels
- During an ammonia spike
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Fill a clean test tube with 5 ml of water to be tested, or to the line on the tube.
- Add 8 drops from ammonia test solution bottle #1, holding the dropper bottle upside down in a completely vertical position to assure uniform drops.
- Next, add 8 drops from ammonia test solution bottle #2, holding the bottle the same way as bottle #1.
- Cap the test tube and shake vigorously for 5 seconds, then wait an additional 5 minutes for color to develop.
- Read the test results by comparing the color of the solution to the appropriate ammonia color card (either freshwater or saltwater).
- The tube should be viewed in a well-lit area against the white of the card.
- The closest match indicates the level of ammonia in the water sample.
- Rinse the test tube with clean water after use. Do not pour test tube contents back into aquarium or pond.
