Anubias Gracilis
‘Anubias gracilis’ is one of the larger varieties in Anubias. In nature, it grows on the banks of rainforest rivers of West Africa. Have long-stalked spade-shaped green color leaves and may grow to 12 inches (30 cm) in length.
This Anubias is a robust, undemanding, hardy plant, recommendable for beginner aquariums as well as cichlid tanks. It is hardy and tolerant, a very good beginner’s plant. The plant can grow on rock or wood or planted on the bottom.
This live aquatic plants can be allowed to grow out of the water, but will attain a significant size this way.
Like most other rhizome plants, it grows best when it is tied or glued on rocks/wood, or when it is simply placed loose between wood and rocks, keeping the rhizome free from soil or gravel so it can grow well and prevent rotting.
