Anubias Barteri Var. Glabra ” Variegated”
An undemanding midground plant with marbled pattern and an unique shaped leaf which requires low light and low maintenance. Ideal for beginners.
Plants with variegated leaves have generally somewhat higher light demands than the entirely green wild types because they produce less chlorophyll for their photosynthesis.
With its narrow, white spotted leaves, Anubias barteri var. glabra ‘Variegated’ is a striking plant that is best placed on wood or rock in the aquarium midground. It is also interesting as an emerged plant for paludariums.
Like most other rhizome plants, it grows best when it is tied or glued on rocks/wood, or when it is simply placed loose between wood and rocks, keeping the rhizome free from soil or gravel so it can grow well and prevent rotting.
