ReeFlowers BioFarm Z-Stones
ReeFlowers Biofarm Z-Stones is a natural stone formed by the reaction of volcanic lava with marine waters. The micro-porous structure provides suitable habitats for beneficial bacteria that consume nitrate and phosphate and increases the bacterial population. This biological filter media strengthens biological filtration and helps to create a natural living environment.
INSTRUCTIONS
It should be used in the media reactor, canister filter or with a filter bag supplied with the product where the water flow is high.
For an aquarium with an average load of 100 liters, 240 ml (~200 gr) ReeFlowers Biofarm Z-Stones should be added. For a heavily-loaded aquarium, media amount can be increased up to 2 times, and it can be increased up to 3 times during transportation.
For freshwater aquariums, ReeFlowers Biofarm Z-Stones needs to be rinsed via aquarium water once every three months without taking it out of water to reach the extended usage of three years.

Update .
I used this media while cycling my new tank, I was dosing ammonium chloride and with in 4-5 hr , ammonia was going from 3-4ppm to 1 ppm, earlier I was amused by the bottled bacteria I was dosing , thinking it was working so good, but later realised this media is also a ammonia absorber.
Few weeks later , there was a big big big nitrite spike , and I don’t mean that off the charts one, I mean there was a constant production of nitrite without dosing ammonia. Even 90 percent water change would bring nitrite to 2-5 ppm and then it would spike again to sky high .
Pros
Great ammonia absorption capability, to a point that if you have 1500 bucks lying around and need a quick fix to your ammonia spike , this will fix it in no time .
But the con is , if you let it stay in your system , bacteria will eventually colonise this media and the result is a nitrite spike .
I do not recommend this product during cycling new tanks , it’s more of a zeolite that can house beneficial bacteria at par with other media such as matrix , in fact in saltwater if put it in a slow flow reactor , might fix your nitrate issues but I don’t think it is worth to spend 1500 on this, if you are doing freshwater. I personally had a really bad time coping up with never ending nitrites, no amount of water changes could fix it , for every ppm of ammonia it absorbs , either you take it out of the canister/ sump and throw it after use , or be prepared for nitrite spikes .
My observation is limited to freshwater only.

Quick shipping, A+ packaging.
I personally prefer to use these over the Seachem matrix . There has been some sort of adulterated matrix available in the market also the quality is not that great .
But reeflower is a little unknown to the average user , but their products are worth the money spent . I have made a complete shift from Seachem to reeflowers because of the quality of products they offfer .
They have a better water conditioner, bacteria , and a lot of products that are highly concentrated and priced competitively .

Absolutely love this product! I use this in a media reactor and waved goodbye to my nitrate issues!
